ABOUT THE ROLE

As Strategic Procurement Specialist, your mission is to support the development and production of our large-scale hybrid eVTOL platform by ensuring resilient, cost-efficient, and scalable procurement and supply chain operations.

You will drive strategic sourcing activities, supplier management, and contract administration across multiple vehicle systems and technologies. • Manage supplier sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, supplier evaluations, and onboarding activities
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships for critical aerospace systems and long-lead items
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, NDAs, LTAs, and commercial agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, inventory risks, and supply continuity
  • Support supply chain resilience, logistics coordination, and capacity planning for prototype and production phases
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, legal, and program management teams across procurement activities
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and support resolution of supplier performance or contractual issues

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contract management
  • Experience supporting procurement for technical or engineered systems
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in aerospace, UAV, eVTOL, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries is considered a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools is advantageous
  • Experience managing suppliers for complex technical programs is preferred

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Full-scale aerospace engineering, not concept slides
  • A 60+ engineer team at Ottobrunn
  • Real ownership and flat hierarchies: a modern startup culture where your input shapes decisions, not just execution
  • Flexible working hours, remote work, and competitive compensation
  • Health & wellbeing: EGYM Wellpass membership and subsidized lunch in our canteen
  • Office extras: espresso coffee, fresh fruit, and soft drinks, plus regular team and company events, and plenty more once you're on board
